Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s ‘Rain on Me’ sets record for No. 1 debut.

In the first week of release, “Rain on Me” reached to the No. 1 position, having 31.4 million streams.

Rain On Me song has currently topped the official United Kingdom Singles Chart by earning the sixth position for both Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga.

The music video was released on May 22, 2020 and got 47 millions views since then.

The current pandemic situation turned brighter for both the artists as the audio already reached to the top level and the video made it grand.

Lady Gaga told

“If someone told me the day I wrote Rain on Me, a day I was crying water like misery, that this song would someday be Number 1, I never would have believed them. Thank you for celebrating this song. It’s my gift to you, to celebrate yourself. I hope the whole world is dancing. To all my UK monsters, I love you so much from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making me Number 1, and I hope you feel Number 1 every time you listen to this song.”

Ariana Grande becomes the very first singer to debut four songs at No. 1, just fortnight after her and Justin Bieber’s duet ‘Stuck With U’ debuted atop the publication’s weekly song ranking, while Lady Gaga has now attained No. 1 singles in 3 different decades, out of which 2 have debuted at No 1.
